Join Nostra for an exclusive ‘Birthday’ menu selected by head chef, Carl K. Frederiksen, to celebrate the one year birthday of Nostra. We have taken the most popular dishes and brought them together to create a limited edition menu. We will be offering 6 and 8 course tasting menus, with an optional wine pairing. Joining in on the birthday celebration head bartender, Hrafnkell Ingi Gissurarson, will put together 6 of the greatest hits from Artson

Amuse bouche

Smoked skyr mousse, hey ash and sea truffle

Dulse and tapioca crisp with dill and pickled green strawberries

Fresh and grilled cucumber, goat cheese and goat heart

Potatoes ‘Vichyssoise’ sautéed with leeks, wine cooked Karl Johan mushrooms and dill chips

Grilled salmon-toro, onion purée, onion and skyr chip and pickled pearl onion

Plaice on the bone, purée of spinach, beurre blanc and caviar

Grilled lamb cuvette, parsnip, watercress and sauce gastrique

Pre dessert

Champagne and green apple sorbet

Fresh strawberries, grilled strawberry sabayonne and raw strawberry sorbet
