Thank you for your interest in Nostra Restaurant.
Please note that we request that you notify us of any known allergies and any dietary restrictions upon the time of reservation. This is to ensure the highest quality of your experience. We welcome children from the age of 4 years and above.
Requests for reservations in the window dining area can be made for a maximum of 8 guests, however they are not guaranteed. Groups of 9 guests or more are normally seated in the centre of the dining room, with great view of the kitchen. Any multiple reservations for the same service will be treated as separate bookings and may not be seated nearby.
All early reservations before 8pm are reserved for a specific dining period. We may require your table back after the time listed below:
Tables for 4 course meal are reserved for 2 hours
Tables for 6 course meal are reserved for 2.5 hours
Tables for 8 course meal are reserved for 3 hours
We welcome you to have a drink in our cocktail bar before and after dinner.
We take reservations online through our website 24/7 or through our email firstname.lastname@example.org or by telephone at +354 519 3535 from Tuesdays to Saturdays between 12:00-23:00.
For parties of 8 guests or less we offer the choice to dine from our 4 course menu, 6 course menu or the 8 course menu. A maximum dining time of 3 hours from the reserved time.
For parties of 9 to 35 guests we offer the choice to dine from our 4 course menu or the 6 course menu. There is a surcharge of 1.500 ISK pp for all groups of 10 or more, this will cover a complimentary drink upon groups arrival. Reservations should be made minimum two weeks before arrival. Your choice of menu along with any dietary requirements for your party must be made known to us at least 1 week prior to arrival.
For large parties of 36 to 75 guests the group needs to buy out the restaurant and the restaurant needs to close the books for other guests during the reserved timeframe, buy out price varies depending on day of the week and time of year. Please reach out to us at email@example.com for a buy out quote. We offer the choice to dine from our 4 course menu or the 6 course menu. There is a surcharge of 1.500 ISK pp for all groups of 34 or more, this will cover a complimentary drink upon the groups arrival. Bespoke tasting menus can be discussed on request at the time of booking. Reservations should be made minimum four weeks before arrival. Your choice of menu along with any dietary requirements for your party must be made known to us at least 1 week prior to arrival.
1 to 8 guests: we require a minimum of 24 hours notice to amend or cancel a reservation. A partially or completely unfulfilled reservation will incur a 5.000 ISK per person cancellation charge (10.000 ISK pp on a Friday or Saturday night).
9 to 35 guests: we require a minimum of a weeks notice to amend or cancel a reservation. Final number of guests are required week prior to your reservation. Any cancellations or reductions made after this point will result in the full menu price being charged for each cancelled guest. Confirmation fee of 30% is due a week after reservation has been made. Full payment for ordered menu is due a week before reserved date.
36 to 75 guests: we require a minimum of two weeks notice to amend or cancel a reservation. Final numbers are required two weeks prior to your reservation. Any cancellations or reductions made after this point will result in the full menu price being charged for each cancelled guest. Confirmation fee of 30% is due a week after reservation has been made. Full payment for ordered menu is due a week before reserved date.
In the unlikely event a booked experience day is cancelled by Nostra, the experience voucher shall remain valid and the company will make every endeavour to rebook the experience day at a mutually convenient time within the next 12 months. Where a booking cannot be re-arranged the experience voucher can be used in exchange for drinks and services up to the face value of the voucher at a Artson Cocktail Bar (subject to voucher expiry and reservation at the restaurant).
The company cannot be held liable for any travel or accommodation costs in relation to a cancellation and experience day vouchers that are not rebooked or exchanges for goods and service shall be forfeited
Same terms and conditions apply to both gift cards and vouchers.
All vouchers are valid for 10 months from the date of sale. Vouchers not used within this time will be forfeited with no entitlement to refund or exchange. It is not possible to extend the voucher beyond the stated 10 month validity period. All vouchers must be booked in advance. Reservations are subject to availability, at our discretion. Please call +354 519 3535 to make your reservation. Purchase of a voucher is not a guarantee of a reservation. All vouchers must be presented upon arrival at the restaurant and must be mentioned when making the reservation.
Vouchers cannot be used on certain holidays such as Christmas Day or New Year's Day or certain promotional days such as Food & Fun, Valentine's Day or Mother's Day. Please ask when booking.
Vouchers are not transferable, refundable in cash or replaceable if lost, destroyed or stolen. Items ordered in addition to the experience and discretionary service charges / gratuities are not included in the price of experience vouchers. Vouchers can only be used for a single transaction; any remaining amount is not exchangeable for cash or another voucher and will be automatically forfeited. Risk will pass to the customer upon delivery and title will pass upon receipt of payment in full. Where vouchers are dispatched by email, risk will pass to the customer when the email is sent and title will pass upon receipt of payment in full.
